We have the expertise and experience to work with firms like yours

This year has been a busy year so far for Lysis Group, across our financial services and crypto clients. In the first quarter of 2022, we successfully delivered the following projects:

  • Global investment bank – retained support for their on-boarding and refresh activities including Brexit-driven book migrations and MI, Controls & Governance support.

  • Large US tech bank – training and operational support for building out their off-shore CLM/AML capabilities, execution of a major KYC remediation to both UK and US standards and retained support for their on-boarding and refresh activities.

  • Major crypto exchange – support of their registration with the FCA including interim MLRO and DMLRO, Financial Crime framework and policy creation and both KYC and Transaction Monitoring remediation across multi-million customer UK and US books for which Lysis scaled a 60-storng team in four weeks.

  • Irish Collective Asset Management Vehicle - fully outsourced and secure AML operations and interim MLRO services.

  • Several smaller European crypto exchanges - support with ongoing FCA and CBoI (Central Bank of Ireland) registration including design of the FC framework and policies and provision of interim MLRO and MLRO-support services.

  • UK-based client that offers customised debit card solutions to banks - Lysis advised on remedial action and designed solutions to be taken to correct issues regarding client monies and assisted with communication to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

  • UK-based payment service provider - Financial Crime Review & Maturity Assessment followed by a revision of their FC framework and policies and detailed review of their controls.

  • A UK-based retail and commercial bank – support for business as usual (BAU) customers and payment screening.

  • A global Fintech firm – design and documentation of Financial Crime Framework, Risk Rating Model and Policies and training for the firm’s in-house team.

  • An Irish banking qualification provider – marking AML papers.

Our comprehensive, interconnected combination of services has been developed deliberately to compliment and strengthen each other and to create significant differentiation from other providers in this market. We are therefore perfectly positioned to support financial service institutions including wholesale and investment banks, payment services and cards, wealth managers, challenger banks and firms from a range of other regulated industries, including crypto asset firms.
